Brush!

The Brush! campaign is an academic project that aims to get young children excited about brushing their teeth. Each piece in the campaign explains the importance and benefits of consistent cleaning and uses bright colors, simple illustrations, playful type, and friendly language to connect with a younger audience.

Brush!

Brand Development

To make the Brush! capmpaign as effective as possible, the branding was developed in a way that would easily connect with younger children. Fonts are fun but still legible, colors are bright and eye-catching, and messaging is kept simple and straightforward. Simple illustrations accompany every message too, assisting children who aren't as advanced at reading.

Brand Elements

Environmental Design

Brush! aimed to place messaging in places where it would be most effective. Since many children ride the bus to and from school, this seemed like a good place to start. Bus seat backs were covered in bright, fun messaging that kids could look at and absorb before the school day began.

Since one of the campaign's biggest goals was to encourage kids to bursh after each meal, school lunch trays provided an effective avenue for brushing reminders.

Because brushing is important outside of school too, these agendas provide helpful reminders throughout the evening, as kids completed homework assignments.
